Frogs & Friends (formerly O'Tooles) is a Community Interest Company that's been helping families have fun and feel confident in the water since 1956. And whilst we now offer a range of other services including pool parties, courses, facility management and holiday activities, at our roots we remain a quality swim school.
With daily swimming lessons, exciting holiday activities and friendly staff who love their work, you'll find Frogs & Friends is a great place for all the family to socialise and have fun, both in and out of the water. In addition, because we're passionate about promoting the work we do as a worthwhile career, we also deliver high quality vocational training courses. In fact, a number of ex pupils make up our friendly "family feel" team after qualifying as swim teachers, lifeguards and leisure operators.
Our swim school has always been family run. You could say that swimming is in our blood!
The foundations for O'Tooles started back in 1956 when grandfather Tom ran his first swim lesson in Aldershot Command Baths. Tom had nine children and swimming was a family passion. Tom's daughter Teresa followed her father's lead and started O'Tooles Swim School with her husband Dave back in 1991. More recently, responsibility has passed to Tom's grandson Damian who has led the re-brand to Frogs & Friends.
Under the leadership of Tom's grandson Damian, O'Tooles has introduced new activities and services. This changing identity needed a fresh brand image and in early 2013 O'Tooles became Frogs & Friends.
